What To Do With A Perfectly Good But Damaged Bead??

This bead took me an hour to make, used up a section of my precious gold dichroic and 6 Cubic Zirconias......so when I dropped it on the concrete and a 'bubble' fell off, it certainly wasn't getting thrown into the rubbish jug!

So I made it up into a necklace and gave it to the Mother In Law as a present!

(She hasn't noticed the chip...as of yet!)

Chanelling Lydia

So, The Sexiest Man On The Planet bought me a Tablet for my Anniversary!

Which means, I can actually get to use some of my tutorials I've been buying over the last couple of years. It is FAB to have my tablet sitting right next to me as I make my beads.

These were made loosely following Lydia Muell's tutorial that she sold a couple of years ago.    Hers, of course, are much nicer.  But I also like to put my own spin on beads, *especially* if following from someone else's tutorial.

These 3 beads took 2 hours to make!

My fav is this gorgeous Ruby color, which was made by layering striking Red and Medium Purple.
I highly recommend purchasing her tut's if you haven't already done so.
